Slow computer and constant freezeups after downloading new Internet Explorer 7.0. Help!!

sorry to hear, you are not alone. please stay away from all the beta, its still in trials and we are the guinie pigs. go to your control panel/add remove. click on remove ie7 and your computer will revert back to the old version.

The Beta version of IE has some complications. presently my explorer shell stalled after I transfered information into folders (by the GUI). attempt to uninstall it and watch for the launch of IE7.

Me too, Its bothering me. I've already disabled the "phishing" which made it a bit faster but still slower than 6.0. I might just uninstall it.

run your anti virus program,
then your spyware program,
then disk clean up,
then defrag your pc & it should pick up some speed.
