I own a small web design company here in my town and i have been at it for several years. I know adobe/macromedia studio, php, cold fusion, asp, ajax, java, etc.. I Wouldnt even call me a real webmaster. To become a basic webmaster all you need to have is a site and a domain name. Thats the best way to get started.
