I have thought about trying the trick that you use when you get wax on clothes, ie putting a clean cloth over the wax and then pressing a hot iron on top which causes the wax to go into the cloth and out of the clothes, but not sure if this will work with resin. Does anyone know if this will work or has anyone got any other advice on how to remove this.

Many thanks

try to obtain some acetone and rub it on the area with a cloth. This should melt the resin, nail varnish remover is like a mild form of acetone. Just try this.

Fold the item with the resin face up. Put in freezer for an hour or two. Once frozen - just chip off or pick off the resin. Then wash.

I am fairly sure that alcohol will solvate it.

If all else fails, try dabbing it with nail varnish remover (acetone).

Try a bit of lighter fluid. Dunno if it'll work but it's worth a bash.
