He was away from the game for quite some time due to injury. In the matches he played in he Challenger Trophy after becoming fit, his performance was not fount at the highest level and as such he has not been included in the team for South Africa. However, he has not been forgotten by the selectors. If he show excellent performance in future, he may be considered

india has got so many new talented young player that i think selectors have forgotten him.
And too Selectors should select a team For US not for themselves to get MONEY$

It appears players have 2 pay for getting selected. This is called "team fixing".
