I heard that s-vhs is way better quality because there are alot more lines. I have a regular vhs player /recorder. I heard you should only use a s-vhs tape if your going to put it in a player /recorder bearing the s-vhs name cause then you will see the high quality that it has. so if i use a s-vhs tape with a regular vhs player/recorder will I see any difference in quality?

To get the most out of s-vhs tape you need a s-vhs machine, it will record at 400 lines of resolution, regular vhs records around 300 lines. Using s-vhs tape on a regular vhs machine is like using a high qualtity vhs tape, just record at the highest record speed {sp} and you should be fine.
