Will do no harm at all - it is simply using the drive lens in the same way it would normally to write data, only that it is scrubbing the disc instead.

eraseing CDs dose nething to your CD-RW Drive, is like u are formating your HDD ...i just know that your data is not safe on a CD-RW...use CD-R or pendrives

you can erase files from a cd- rw cd . it will not do anything to ur cd rw driver

There's no problem with that. A lens has a long life & if there's a problem replace it, it's very cheap.

it is no different for the head than writing a CD.
no damage is done by erasing/formatting

Or, an easier thank you to erase the suggestions would be to easily only click "commence" interior the decrease left nook of the video show, then "My laptop", then click the CD-force which your disc is on, and all the archives could be there. only click "Delete" on the keyboard or precise click and then opt for "Delete."
