well i didnt quite understand this question

does it mean consumer awareness towards milk as a product

or
consumer s attitude towards the change in price of milk

well i ll tell you something about both

Consumers can and do get confused, especially with the massive increase in choice available and the increase in complexity of products. It seems plausible that consumer confusion, like most consumer attributes, must have a direct and significant impact on marketing strategy. Yet most of what is written on the subject is tangential and scattered over a number of disciplines. A study explores the various views together under one single heading that will be of interest to marketers and business managers.

Consumers' beliefs in the benefits of reducing fat intakes, especially saturated fat, and of increasing calcium intake from such foods dairy products, depend upon the acquired information related to diet and health. This study develops new health information measures from different sources. The monthly information indexes, constructed for 1980-93, show that the amount of consumer information related to fat and cholesterol reached to the highest during 1989-90. the empirical application shows that these new indexes of consumer health information about fats and cholesterol could explain the changing patterns of the consumer choices of whole milk vs. lower fat milk in the United States.

WELL consumer s behaviour towards milk is inelastic
whether the price increase the demand is not effected to an extent
cause it is highly perishable good and has a daily use

for eg salt
if the price of salt increases the demand for salt will not decrease because salt is of daily use and its a necessary product
