Is this something you are interested in? Canada has an excellent higher education system and excellent job opportunities in every field, so think about the fields that interest you, apply to programs in those fields and make it happen.

My chemistry teacher didn't recommend it, he recommended materials sciences. It might be a good subject though,, you have to think of the applications.
