Börek is a Turkish word. It is used for pastry filled with anything -cheese, meat, vegetables, chicken, etc.

Hmm, I know that boreka in Hebrew is like a puff pastry thing with a filling in the middle of either potato, mushrooms, spinach or some other type of food sometimes:)

borek is part of a turkish meal it has meat spinach (cheese), sauce, and whatever else you want in it. it is like a calzone but with that stuff in it.i should know i mkae them i made them for girlscouts and they ate them all! lol i hope i could help
