Yes, it does worry me a lot.
I try to do my share in order to give a better future not only to other people but to animals as well.
And I think it is very insensitive and selfish to say that one is not worried, because we have seen and read the effects of global warming in our daily lives (floods, heat waves, cold waves, etc).
What happened in New Orleans last year, was a sign of the climate change and people's actions towards the environment.
It won't be only our great-grandchildren to feel the consequences, we are feeling them right now. Open your eyes, the changes are out there!
And together we can do something to save the planet, but as long as we have people that won't give up their cars, that will take baths instead of showers, that will light up all the lamps in their houses when they only need one, countries that don't honour the Kyoto Protocol etc. This planet, as well as humans, are condemned.

Well, it's entirely possible that all of the current global warming is caused by the sun getting hotter and may have nothing at all to do with mankind's CO2 production.
If that's the case, then it would be pretty daft to spend billions of pounds on trying to cut CO2 production, only to find that it has no effect on global warming at all.
Until we know for sure what's happening, we should just wait and see.
And no, we *don't* know for sure what's happening, despite certain people trying to suggest that we do, lying about it to try to convince you and trying to gag anyone who says otherwise!

I am slightly worried but all we can do is our bit - I keep trying to help by switching lights off, recycling etc. However, it dosent make a difference if one person is doing things, it's a worldwide problem and other countries need to face up to it too. The governments in all countries should agree on compulsary recycling and other energy saving policies with harsh penalties if broken.
It is a huge problem but we all need to pull together, and maybe we need to "forced" together by the governmenet.
Like I said, all we can do is our bit - and try to persuade others too!

I am worried actually not for me but for my kids (when I have them), kids and for all the animals it will effect eg polar bears etc. The human race is so greedy. I just wonder if other countrys governments get on at them as much as our government does us, we already pay a lot for petrol for example. We all need to do it together or there is no point the UK doing it on its own.

Sorry, but I agree with Brian. I love my 4x4 and I dont want to drive around in a mobile hair dryer. I use as little gas and electricity as I can and I recycle everything. I dont want to spend the whole of my life worrying about what will happen after I and my kids have died. Irresponsible?...yes, maybe but at least I am not a hypocrite

Of course everyone should do more, but experts have been warning of this for years and years and only now are politicians starting to listen - they only do when its too late!
