I'm happy after all my Christmas shopping is done and all the presents are wrapped. I'm happy after I've paid my taxes because the preparation is such a chore. I'm happy when I'm in my own home and my days work is done. I'm happy when my little kitty is sleeping on my shoulder. I'm happy when I'm eating my favorite food. (homemade tacos =). I'm happy when my best friend finally has time for me. Dang she's a busy one. I'm happy when all the laundry is done. I'm happy when all the bills are paid. I'm happy when I get a phone call from my sister. I'm happy when I find a ring metal detecting. I'm happy I have a good job and I'm the boss. I'm happy I taught myself to type. I'm just happy I'm alive basically. Everything else is icing on the cake. =)

This actually made my day. Things wern't simply going well until I saw this.
Wow, what makes me happy? Old memories =] Just the good times when you were with your friends kicking it back. Remembering some embarassing yet hilarious moment. Remembering the first time you had enough guts to talk to a girl and getting that overwhelming feeling that you might fall unconcious. Remembering your 15 minutes of fame when you felt like the whole world revolved around you.

Acceptance of the fact that happiness is the biggest ***** so whatever it is that makes me smile or laugh till I cry-I always indulge in it without questioning it in that moment;like everything that too will end and unhappiness will be on the other side of the door at which time the memory of those happy times will keep me afloat.After all if it weren't for memories how else would we ever truly really exist.Whatever tickles my pickle at any given moment.Good times.

My two cats, watching my favourite hockey team, camping, traveling, spending time with my bf, watching my favourite tv shows, having some drinks with friends...and the list goes on. I think it is the simple things in life that we enjoy that make us happy in general.

"Satisfaction no expectations from anyone" this attitude makes you happy. We expect people to behave or react in a perticular manner and if they don't, we are unhappy.
