Visual would appeal to what you would normally see. In a book, it might be a contradicting or absurd description of someone or something, or, as you mentioned, a facial expression or action - something the reader would 'see'.
Audio humor would be more of a sound, or something a character might say - maybe a remark, a well timed onomatopoeia, or the ABSENCE of a certain noise, which at certain times can reach a humorous effect. (this type is sometimes harder to classify as 'audio' in a book)
Intellectual humor would be an irony which looks normal at a glance, but once pondered, one would see the absurdity of the remark or scene. (my personal favorite)

Yeah pretty much, any humour that doesn't involve words or noises.
