E is energy.
m is mass.
c squared is the speed of light squared.
They had a TV show on PBS about Albert Einstein yesterday. You just missed it!
E=mc squared is Einstein's "theory of relativity".

Dude, it's fascinating. The equation itself says ... if you want to know the energy contained in "something", you can multiply it's mass (in grams i think), times 2 times the speed of light. The speed of light is a constant (300000 miles per second roughly). So Csqaured is also a constant. If you know the mass of something, and multiply it by the constant of the speed of light squared, you get it's potential energy. That is, if you could convert all of the mass into energy! So from the equation, we have a couple of fascination things. It led to atomic/hydrogen bombs. The easiest thing to turn from mass into energy is putonium. This formula allowed einstein and other's to anticipate the power of turning 5lbs of plutonium into a bomb. But... theoretically, you could turn 5lbs of hamburger into the same type of explosion, since it has the same mass (here on earth).
The question you should ask yourself is... why does the constant of the speed of light have anything to do with the amount of enerygy contained in a substance? You will eventually ask that, but since you can't ask a question untill you already have the answer, we'll leave that for another time.

E - is equivalent 2 energy
m - is equivalent 2 mass
c squared - is the amount of light squared
This is the famous " Theory of Relativity " by Master Albert Einstein, or in our worldly translation; The more wealth U will generates, the more relatives U will have !

E=mc2. Energy = Mass multiplied by the speed of light squared! m=mass c=speed of light 2=squared. I hope this will suffice. Have a good day!

i think of maximum cases they mean: you have been by way of it besides.. you be conscious of what it sounds like.. yet wow to the extra info, i do no longer be conscious of if i'm useful now o.O i be conscious of that sounds enormously complicated.. this is all i be conscious of, you be conscious of what I mean? :D
