i step on the gas a little and it stumbles and dies, i've tried cleaning the fuel injectors but no luck. can anyone help please?

I had this problem...make sure your fuel filter has recently been replaced... fuel pump could be on the fritz...(vapor lock) hopefully it's not what was wrong w/ mine...From 88-90 they used a Japanese onboard computer that has since gone obsolete...Finding someone other than Jeep to do a diagnostic on it is damn near impossible! Try the fuel system troubleshooting first..good luck!

It sounds like your throttle position switch is going bad. Or sometimes a good throttle body cleaning will take care of the problem. The best way to know for sure is to take it to a reputable garage and have them do a scan test on your computer. Good Luck

This is a common problem.
first thing when was the last time you preformed a major tune up fuel filter,air filter,spark plugs,and the most important fuel injection cleaned out.This should take care of that problem in less you have other major engine problems.

Check your fuel pumps output and pressure.
