Great Britain will soon no longer be a soverign state. It will become a region of the State of Europe. Should any British person who has helped this come to pass be tried in a British court of law for Hight Treason?

High Treason is an act of gross disloyalty to one's country.
So if handing it over to a bunch of unelected foreigners is not High Treason, tell me what is.

Joseph M - are you suggesting that the British people actually WANT to be part of a federal Europe? We know that these treaties are signed because Prime Ministers know a lucrative 'follow on' job when they see one.

Sandy - that's just it - we did not all vote for it. We voted to be part of a trading block, but not to be subsumed into The United States of Europe.
Very few common people know anything about these treaties - they are put through 'on the quiet'.

Lynn - thanks for those interesting points. No way was I suggesting that the Queen is in any way to blame for the sorry state that Great Britain finds itself in. Everyone knows that the royal assent happens whether the Queen privately agrees or not.
I am sure a clever lawyer could make a case about the way these laws have been quietly sneaked through. Such a monumentous change to our constitution should have been put to the people and discussed openly.

Yes, I agree. I have long thought that. Also the cabinet. I can hear the roll of drums now.

The idea of a United States of Europe will never come to pass. For one thing the USA homoginised their population, whether by natural means or by government force. Europe is too diverse, even individual countries have divergent regions. Another point is that the UK doesnt have a written constitution and correct me if I'm wrong aren't you considered subjects as apposed to citizens. For these two reasons you don't even have to be asked if soverignty where to be shifted, it happened all the time in the middle ages when all Europeans where subjects. Your only hope is that other nations, that have sense reject the idea of a federal system. So the question should be, is it possible for the general population to take control of the course the UK takes in Europe and then consider high treason charges.

Some very interesting points of view both for and against.
Unfortunately politicians are protected under constitutional law from prosecution for legislation passed through the houses of parliament using the correct parliamentary procedure.
As long as proposals for alterations or additions to legislation or sovereignty pass in this way it cannot be treason.
We must be mindful that since the 17th century sovereign rule has pretty much become extinct, although the reigning monarch must give royal assent to all Acts of Parliament.
In effect this says that her majesty agrees to the proposed changes as being the will of the crown, on whose behalf parliament is appointed and constituted.
Note that it is "Her Majesty's Government."
If a direct move to remove the reigning monarch was made without the parliamentary process being followed then that would be treason.

In my opinion yes! However, in international law, no. The elected representatives do have the legal power to sign up to any international agreements. The monarchy will remain as head of state, even though this will become a purely symbolic gesture.
I believe that we should withdraw from Europe. Neither the Tories, Lib-dems or Labour have any power or resources to sort out our problems in this country so long as we remain within the EU. Staying a nation state is NOT compatible with the EU or the globalist plans of the secret elite that created the EU and have plans for a global dictatorship.
Anywhere on earth where you see countries standing up for their national Identity against being sumsumed into a greater supra-national block, you see the elite designating them as failed states and potential sponsors of terror. Where you see nations resisting the global banking dynasties from taking control of their central banks, creating fiat currency, fractional reserve banking and usury, you will see the west inventing arguments for intervention or invasion or regime change.
In my opinion, Blair has committed a far worse treason, and that is lying to Parliament to get our troops involved in a foreign invasion based on lies for the benefit of a foreign power and the global elite.
The invasion cost the lives of over 500,000 Iraqis over the last 3 years. That's more than the amount of Iraqis killed by Saddam over his entire leadership (approximately 300,000).
Do you suppose that the hangman could do a 3 for 1 deal? Saddam, Bush and Blair?

By definition, treason is aiding or abetting the enemy during wartime. So unless Brussels declares war on the UK, Blair is not guilty. By your logic agreeing to any international treaty could be considered treason-who should hang for the Kyoto Accord?

Naw, y'all voted on that. If any are to blame for anything it is the Professional Politicians that take the offices and use them to get themselves rich from and off of the work of the common citizen. There will be revolution in the street, just gotta decide on wich street to start at.

At the last time Ilooked all treaties were passed by majority vote by parliament,If you know of any deals ,,treaties ,acts of subversion or treasonable acts against the crown Iwould suggest they are all in your own head ,or is it possible that you are delusional and think you are the queen.

Move to Australia and don't worry about it. We'll be a monarchy long after you blokes have been swallowed by Europe. Charles and Camilla will probably have to move the capital to Canberra.
