ATX type computers always have power being supplied to the motherboard. This is a standby voltage, it is what lets you turn your computer on form the power on button in the front.

I believe you are worried that it isn't turned off because you can see lights in the back of the computer flashing. This is cause of that. Dell I know is one manufacture that dose this. All you have to do is shutdown the computer and turn off the monitor for it to be turned off.

when you press the power button ur see a light come on just under it .but you must have a power cable connected to it and ur see on ur monitor screen pc starting up then it will go to .da desktop & you will see windows desktop

ur computer have a mini light on its front and blinking continue if ur monitor is on and lights on cpu is also on if ur cpu is on so u know ur computer is switched on

you can find a green light which glows on the cabinet ... you could find something on the scree ... else on themonitor and click with the mouse ...

then you could find with these ones ...
