i lost my right tube 7 months ago to an ectopic pregnancy. i have both my ovaries, but it appears only one is active. for 2 cycles in a row (1 on clomid), my left ovary isn't producing any viable follicles. is there any hope for me? does this mean that my left ovary is useless?

'Hey..i so depressed.....Before you get to that point, here's some good news for you. I admit that your chances have been reduced a lot but all is not lost!!! between hormone shots, new findings comming out every day to being inseminated with your husbands sperm, you still have a great chance for pregnancy. It's not over untill it's over and this sounds like you have a long way to go before giving up :) keep your chin up and go for it!! good luck.

There is still a chance - dont give up hope.

The Doctor would not want to give you false hope either - so I would trust what the Doctor says.

There is a chance. Just pray and keep on trying.

Also try not to worry too much because it might prevent you from conceiving. Stress will end up being the reason you dont conceive otherwise.

Try to get your mind off it - any way you can. Relax. It can happen so hold on to that!

I pray the best for you.

i would hope not! but you would really need to talk to the doctor about that! if it is you do have options like invitro and adoption which i now isnt the same but ends in the same result!
