Take a razor blade and scrape it off. It won't scratch the glass. They actually sell a paint scraper/razor at Home Depot.

First, if there's a large buildup of glue on the piece of glass, you can carefully pry it away with a razor--be careful not to scratch the glass, though. The next step is acetone.
Next comes lots of rubbing. Use a q-tip or soft cloth to lightly rub the acetone on the glass.

GASOLINE will dissolve ANYTHING, It's a great detergent for cleaning, the only problem is that it's way too FLAMMABLE, so don't use it inside, or when someone turns on a light, or the furnace kicks on, and KA-boom ! Try Acetone (Nail polish remover).

scrape off as much as u can with a razor blade, and then use paint thinner.
But the best way is to go to the paint department at home depot and ask the sales associates.

Solvent would work the best, but depending on what your glasses are made of, it could have a bad result.
