Do you tell people when it is your birthday, or would you rather keep it quiet ?

i keep it quiet like on the actual day so it doesn't seem like I'm fishing for "happy birthday" but the night before oh trust me, they're aware.

I would rather keep it quiet, I don't like to be the center of attention. I usually take my birthday off so that I don't have to hear about my birthday anymore. I celebrate myself, that is the way I like it. I am just glad to make another year, that's all. :)

I keep it quiet, because I don't like the fake fuss that people where I work make. I work with phonies, who will wish me a happy bd on one day and stab me in the back the next.

No one needs 2 know. It is another day and I'm another year older. My goodness, keep it down, someone could hear. Besides, I have a hard enough time remembering how old I am.

I give plenty of advanced notice. I also tell them things I want. But, so long as I get a card or email or even a phone call...I am one happy birthday girl.

these days... i would keep it quiet cuz i don't want to get any older and since it's a necessity to get older i don't want to be reminded that im getting that much closer to it being practically a necessity to move out of my mom's place and get my own pad and start doing things on my own.
