I agree! I mean, South Africa currently attracts 7.4 million tourists per year and we experience a growth of 10% each year. Sure, it must be one of the most attractive destinations in the world now! I mean, when you look at all the international awards SA and especially Cape Town received, one should expect that Yahoo puts us in their International list! Maybe its up to us South Africans to market our country on the international General Travel board where people will e.g. ask: "Any cool new destinations"? :) Any other suggestions?

Probably never as there are few users of the internet in SA when compared to the 1st World. Maybe they will do an Africa thing. As for Tourists ( Malan) Spain has more than 62 million tourists per annum which kind of puts South Africa into perspective.
