We need a playoff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so them big Ten, Big 12 teams can quit yapping!!!!

You are right. Ohio State has never beat an SEC team in a bowl game and they have had 8 chances. I'm not sure if Michigan has ever beaten an SEC team in a bowl game or not.

Yeah, Texas thought Ohio St. was a bunch of pu$$ies, and Notre Dame thought the same of Michigan. Want to know why the Big 10 is having such a down year? Look at the injury report for Iowa and Penn St. in the week right after they played OSU and Michigan. These two teams are thumping melons. Last week, when Ohio St. played Illinois what happened? Well, besides playing ultra-conservative and not throwing a single pass on 1st down in the 2nd half, they ripped Illinois' QB a new one when it looked like they might be mounting a comeback. As far as Michigan or OSU victories over SEC teams, Michigan beat Alabama in the 2000 Orange Bowl, beat Arkansas in the 1999 CompUSA Bowl (now Capital One Bowl), Alabama again in the 1988 Outback Bowl, and Florida in the 2003 Outback Bowl. Also, you should keep in mind that until after 1975 that Big 10 schools could play in bowl games other than the Rose Bowl. When OSU lost to Michigan in 1969, it was their last game anyway because they had won the Rose Bowl the year before and there was a rule that you couldn't go to consecutive Rose Bowls. Also, can you really count beating a John Cooper coached team as beating OSU? I mean they had 12 years living with a mental handicap. Yes, Tressel lost to South Carolina in his first year, but that's his only bowl loss. The buzz saw that is now OSU football is something the SEC wants no part of. Bad news is if Louisville goes undefeated we'll have to wait until next year. Good news is a one loss Michigan team could end up playing an SEC team, then when Michigan stomps whoever they play you all can whine and say how the officials blew a call and that's why you lost.

Are you on drugs...? Who is your squad, Louisville, Boise St., or Rutgers? If it's not one of those three, your team has lost more games than Michigan or OSU. Close doesn't matter when you are the only two undefeated teams in the country that matter. Check the point differential between 1 and 2 in the BCS. Then check the difference between 2 and everbody else. You are right about the plyoff. For now all we have is the BCS so stop hatin' on the Big Ten...getcha mind right.

I agree with the playoff system. But I'm not an ohio state or michigan fan but I dated a girl from ohio state once and their fans are GREAT!!! I have been to many games across the nation. I can say that the Buckeye fans are probably the best fans I've EVER seen. They are crazy, wild and very intelligent when it comes to their team. They are definitely not sissies or *******. You must not know very much about sports, especially college football.

The Big Ten has won 33 national championships

the southeastern has only won 27 national championships

The team ( Minnesota ) ranked THIRD in The Big Ten in national championship wins, HAS MORE NATIONAL TITLES than ANYONE in the sec, except alabama!!!!!!!!

The Ohio State Buckeyes will win out by beating meechigan woolveweenies in a TOUGH rivalry game ( the best in all college history ) and will go on to defeat WHOEVER is put against them in the national championship game!!!!!

GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!!!1

I was going to write about how many Bowl wins the Big Ten has and compare that to SEC.

Or write about cold climate smash mouth football.

But, Bobbie 127 put it best I agree with that the most.
