What are the Service Pack for both?
To increase speed of PC there few factor
1. Incerease swap disk (use for virtual memeory)
Go to Mycomputer ==> Properties ==> advance==> on Performance click Setting ==> advance==> virtual memory Click Change
Put maximum value as indicated at maximum.
