Well, Meeko, It has turned out pretty well actually. Sadam Hussein is sentenced to die for his crimes against humanity. The Iraqi people have held an election and voted in their favorite leader. (By the way, When THEY went to the poll to vote, they literally were risking their lives.) The infrastructure is coming along. The police are getting trained. Yes I do believe it has turned out quite nicely.
We have not been attacked again for a reason. We showed em in Iraq.

We've never been stay the course. GW Bush said so!
I guess that means that the republicans have always been cut and run. Cut and run with the money more like!
Actually, if you look at the big picture, the Iraq war was a heist on the American tax payer.
They went into Iraq, destroyed much of the infrastructure several times over, re-building it several times over at the tax payers expence, and now it's gotten too dangerous for the US corporations to operate their, no-bid, cost plus scams they pull out and Bush says, "we've never been stay the course!"
They never got the oil. Although they did get it sold in dollars again. (Saddam was selling it in Euros) They never got the WMD. They haven't managed to create a liberal democracy, and there wasn't any terrorists over there to fight instead of at home, ALL aims of the invasion. All failures and lies.
But Bush and Cheney's buddies made out like bandit's at the American tax payers expence.
Now that the Democrats have gained some power, and look like winning in 08, The tax burden is gonna explode.

No, it is not. Bush stupidly risked his entire presidency on this war. If the war fails, he fails. Well...he has failed. The American people have spoken. By morning it will be apparent that not only have the Republicans lost the house, but they will also lose the Senate. Ultimately this election was not so much a failure of conservative values, as it was a statement from the American people to the president. The statement is, "get out of this war immediately."

Nope. The only course that King George should stay is the golf course along with his kindred spirit--OJ.

Sort of like when people restate what has already been overstated instead of coming up with something original.
