No you need not to be there,get a power of attorney,if you can trust the agent or you may ask your relative to be present there on your behalf cause this is Cash.Good Luck.

Not as the seller. Did you have an agent? If so they should have any necessary power of attorney (limited) to do anything necessary to close. Did you live up to your own obligations? Usually that's pretty easy as long as the title is in your name and no liens exist that cannot be satisfied with the proceeds.

Title Insurance Companies will handle the whole process for you, the faxing, the wire transfer of monies. They are owned by attorneys, contact a title company in your area. All you would have to do is sign. Faxes are legal documents. For a small charge, it will be worth it. Good Luck.
