I am ready for a woman to run this country! We have yet to put in the office of president ,someone who is able to see past their penis and run the government the way it should be ran. Maybe a woman would think with the right head. We are strong and able to handle alot more than men believe and it needs to happen. Whether it is Hilary Clinton or Condoleezza Rice, we need to utilize the woman's perspective in government. I would vote for her if she ran.

I believe that she has the potential to run this country. But I don't think America is ready for a woman president.

It's not so much "A woman", it is "THIS woman!"
I am praying they are not ready to elect USA's answer to Cherie Blair. Also she has said she would NOT remove troops from Iraq, which will surely count against her.
I believe she would have a certain female and also black vote on her side, but remember USA is pretty well 5o/5o split between Democrat/Republican, and she is regarded in mid-America as a typical "Liberal" so....perhaps she doesn't have much of a chance.
She does have millions of $$$$$ behind her, but there are plenty of murky things for her detractors to pull out of her past, including money-matters and the strange death of her 'alleged lover' Vince Foster. Many women did not like her "standing by her man" Bill when he constantly cheated on her, culminating in Monicagate.
The Clintons are known to live separate lives, and that might also count against her.
To sum up, Americans could be ready for a female President, but perhaps not for Bill as First Lady?? Perhaps Condoleeza??

We may be ready for a woman as a president, but it is not going to be Hilary Clinton. I don't think she stand a chance in Hades for the simple reason of who she is married to. I wonder if she truly forgave her husband for his actions, or if she has stayed with him just for political reasons. If she chose the latter reason, I feel sorry for her. I don't think I could live the rest of my life with someone just to save face for politics. That would be a miserable way to have to spend the rest of your life.

Against McCain she would have a tough time. Against any other GOP candidate she would have a chance. The dems victory could in the house actually ended up hurting her chances in 2008. Liberal Democrats could assert themselves in the house and hurt her carefully cultivated middle of the road, "not like those other democrats" image. As well, the dems just bought themselves a big piece of the Iraq problem. It's their war now too.

The triumph of the Democrats in the last election could pave the way for the election of Hilary Clinton to the presidency.

American men aren't ready for any women presidents, they hate it when there are ppl smarter than they are. America would benefit from a female president. But I don't know about Clinton.

I'd like to think so, I'm english and we had a great leader in Magiie Thatcher... although she ended up being very unpopular, she made the big tough decisions when they were needed for our country.

I'd love to see her in the white house... she'll have tio tough time winning the south over though... they're still a bit tough on those kinda things.
