With the exception of some Albertans, I thought the idea of Social Credit disappeared with the Reform Party!
I wouldn't vote NDP for any reason.... Liberals just about destroyed the country... then again so did the Conservatives under Mulroney.... Although, that was in the days of "PC's". Hmmmm, Social Credit -- no, too right wing. I think we've all had enough of ultra-right with George Double-yu. So what the heck does that leave us with? The Green Party? Not for me, I don't like hugging trees...

Social Credit screwed up Quebec back in the 20's-30's-40's...sure it had a different name; Union Nationale....but the base of the party is essentially the same as the social creditists.
In the 21st century, i'd have to say i'd vote for anyone but the PC. The NDP would be a choice but they have to get their strings sorted out. So the Liberals remains the "logical" choice...As a Quebec resident, I don't believe in the Bloc being very usefull.

The idea of Social Credit is outdated. The party peaked in the 1960s, but it just kind of dwindled away. The Quebec wing of the party merged with the other nationalists, and the western wing (mainly BC and Alberta) joined the PCs and the Reform Party. There's no point in restarting yet another fanatic right-wing party; it's just a waste of all of our time.

Vote for the right candidate who truly deserves to win not considering the party to where he belongs.
