It's been a while and yes I feel a bit better. Believe it or not, Republicans crossed party lines today. The unfortunate truth and sad realization about this election, it proves that our democracy is solely dependent on money to win elections.
Hopefully, this can be addressed and fixed. Even John McCain (R) has been for reforming this aspect in our election process. 2.2 Billion dollars has been spent for this election. The Dem's have spent more than ever, and were very close in spending to what the Reps have. (To win and have payed less is encouraging and shows a good sign, however, it bothers me to think about where the money came from).
If the Democrats have resorted to taking funds the same way as the Reps, then we have a change in name only. I hope not, as I am a Democrat, and I personally despise the fact that you need money to win.
Thank you all for voting. . .Great Job

Well now nothing will get done all will be dead locked. Taxes will go up cause the dems will repeal the tax cuts Nancy the devil Polosi will ask for a time table for the troops and will cancel the wire taps to listen in on terrorist this is the worst that could have happened the dems complain all the time about bush but where is there plan just cut and run. The terrorist are jumping for joy cause they know dems are weak on defending us i`m sure they are very happy just waiting on the time table to pull the troops out of iraq. Don`t get me wrong i`m not a dem or a rep i just wanna know what there plan is ?

Democrats won because of the Republican errors in foreign diplomacy and pedophile scandal. Democracy is really existing in the US.

I'm happy (get rid of some of the McCarthy's) but Nancy Pelosi scares me. She looks like her plastic surgeon took classes with the Joker's.

I'm happy as all get out. The Democrats wanted the job, now they got it. Let's all hope they can straighten out the mess this country is in, and not make it any worse.

I think it's good for the democrats to control at least one house. It's just too bad that Nancy Pelosi will be the Speaker of the House. She's one crazy woman.
