No ... How can someone force democracy on someone else? If it's forced, then is it really a democracy? If there is ever to be democracy or peace over there, then they will have to resolve it themselves.

particular. Bush appointed the President (Karzai ) of the main corrupt government interior the international, and Obama has to assist it - courtesy of George W. Bush. the U. S. Anmnistration can't opposite the Bushie bonehead flow-think of of what Dick "Dick" Cheney might say.they had be rubbing their hands in glee ; even mutually as human beings are coming residing house in coffins. i'm a Canadian; and that i'm getting unwell and uninterested in seeing our flags flying at 0.5-mast. it is going to take 10 or twenty years to be sure if the Iraqis have a real democracy ( I doubt it). yet this is how conservatives worrk - it somewhat is basically the subsequent 5 years or so. Since Bush got inot office the US has gone down in ranking form the "leader of democracy" in the world to a country that tortures suspects, a country that without bringin charges against suspects and without the benefit of a lawyer incarcerates them indefinitly, molests them (takes obscene naked picutres of them, mokes them, etc...). A country that has secret (or not so secret anymore) prisons in foreign countries for the sake of freely torturing inmates. A country that tampers with elections, a country that spies on his citizens, a country that threatens the media and controls the press, a country with a goverment that disregards the constitution and calls it a simple piece of paper. It seems to me, the US needs to learn again what democracy is before they go trying to teach others. And don't get started with the" threat of terrorism" again. The founding fathers would not have compromised on their principles regardless of the threat. In fact, these principles were put in place exactly to protect the citizenry even more so during those times.
