You can never change someone else.
You could try to guilt, threaten or bribe him into changing, however. But this is passive-aggressive, immature and short-term.
Only he can decide to change. You can only... try to influence him or convince him that he should.

It is a tried and true fact that no one can change anyone to be what someone wants them to be a person is who they are, to you he may seem imatue yet to someone elsehe may be looked at in an entirely different way. You should accept him as he is when you met him he was as is, and you still got together so why is he different to you now. Did you ever stopto think maybe you have grown in a different way and he has also, or maybe he is fine with the way he is and likes to be this way. You should just give him time. to mature in your way of thinking of him, and somtimes what you ask for may change a erson to whom you would not like or want to be with. I am of the mind that you are who you are and if you can't be accepted for that then someone needs to either move on or stay for the reasons, you got together in the first place..gotta go I am sleepier than I thought grammer getting, sloppy . nite to all may your new day , be a peaceful one and may life not kick you down. Ciao Mes Aimees.

You can't.
If he's under 30 there's a chance he'll mature on his own. If he's over 30 he isn't going to.
Someone once remarked to me that for many men being in their twenties is a version of the "Terrible Two's" - and then they grow out of it.

You cannot make anyone change his ways. If you wanted to explain logically why your way is better, may be the man will adopt your attitude on his own.
If it doesn't you have one choice: you take it or you leave it.

You get rid of this guy and get an new one who is more mature. Your man is no longer immature.
You can't change people, if your personalities don't mesh like that, it's just not meant to be.

men mature slower than women and get him to buy a home and he will be obligated to paying the loan and all the other bills that go with bing a home owner.or he could join the military and he would have to mature because if you dont you can be sure they will get rid of you.

Start treating him like a man -- a mature gentleman -- and not like a little boy. He may begin to act like one. If not, you might point out to him, quietly, that it makes you feel he does not respect your dignity. If you act like a lady, he should be inspired to act like a gentleman.

I have a better question. Why do people enter relationships trying to change their partners? If you don't like him, don't date him.

through gentle nagging for years, and years, and years. Also violent mood swings, and constant put downs should do the trick :-)
