Higher taxes, Cuts to Services to Citizen, and We will loose the war on terrorism.
1. Equal Rights gets thrown out the door. Taxing the rich more is a violation of Equal Rights. Democrats don't believe in Fair taxation (www.fairtax.org). Fair Tax taxes everyone the same.
2. Democrats like to raise taxes and cut services to citizens to balance the budget. Government is not supposed to make money.
3. Most democrats don't know Iraq was part on the war on terrorism. Our biggest problem in Iraq is poor after-war planning. Pulling out will be insulting the lives lost over there. Terrorist will just take back control of Iraq. Making everything we worked for pointless and deaths pointless as a result.
4. You can expect Unemployment to go up and cost of living to up even more. Small Business owners will fill the crunch. And this all because of Minimal Wage increases.
These are all facts and what the Democrats will do. America made a biggest mistake ever. Enjoy your higher taxes people. And I hope states and local federal departments can survive with less funding.

Means almost nothing. The small majority gained isn't enough to change the direction of anything. Senate and House will stalemate each other. Nancy Pelosi wil go blah blah blah for 2 more years and create a backlash that puts the Republicans back in power in 2 years.
By the way Saddams fate is not in the hands of the US congress. He will be lynched by his own people.

Democrats will not save Saddam, how did you get this weird idea.
Hopefully they can lift the ban on feeding the homeless in Florida, a Republican idea, it makes their parks look ugly, if you should have a picnic basket for the homeless you could get arrested. It will bring tax cuts for working families instead of the rich. It will reinstate programs for the poor and their children, Republicans discontinued. The democrats will remember that Seniors who suffer poverty do exist and will tackle the problem of homeless families with children. What it means for you and me, a more just Government.

Foreign policy will moderate, and domestic policy will likely take center stage in a way that it hasn't since the Clinton era.
Look for a Minimum wage bill, cheaper prescription drugs, closing of tax loopholes to energy and drug companies, among other things.

Pardon me, but I can only hope they have the balls to start standing up for America and it's people, first and foremost. If not, we're in for a world of hurt.

anyway you slice it, saddam's getting the death penalty. killing saddam would only strike up even more violence in al quieda instead of slowing it down, like people orginally thought.
it means more civilian casualties, more deaths for the brave men and women of the service, and just more deaths, i guess.
