After John Kerry's jumbled joke about the President, the Bush Administration immediately jumped on the speech and accused Kerry of stating that our US military is uneducated. What purpose would calling our US military uneductated serve for John Kerry or the democratic party? Is it more likely that the Bush administration manipulted the speech to attack Kerry/Democrats or that a former US soldier actually believes his contemporary service men are poorly educated?

Kerry didn't botch a joke as much as he's botched his '08 prospects for the white house.

Republicans administration the Presidency, the Congress, the Senate, and approximately sixty two% of the Judiciary, so all the subjects are the liberals fault! Up is down, down is up, conflict is peace, peace is conflict. undesirable information: in case you think of John Kerry as president is frightening, what are you going to do whilst Hilary Clinton is president? John Kerry seems so lots greater useful under those circumstances, would not he? LOL!!!

going a little overboard aren't we? immediately jumped on the speech...not hardly. did you even listen to kerry's speech it clearly and empathic ally called those who serve uneducated, he at no time mentioned the president. if you go back even to 1977 when kerry testified before the senate sub committee he said almost the exact same thing. that the military was comprised of the poor, blacks and uneducated. kerry has a history of disparaging and lying about not only his own battle buddies but the entire military. i guess buying the medals wasn't enough to make him a hero he had to try and buy his way as an anti-war hero too. btw kerry and bush both went to yale and bush had better grades....

They did manipulate the speech. If the intent was really against the troops, why did the people Kerry was speaking to applauded him?

Kerry has been one of the ppl in the govt who has been fighting for the veterans. Why would he insult the troops when he was one?

Kerry botched a joke, and in a desperate attempt to influence yesterday's election, the Bush administration and Fox News acted like it was a big deal.

It's more that John Kerry's ability to deliver a punchline is virtually non-existent.

This is coming from a guy who voted for him, he really shouldn't talk much if it involves the troops, his mouth, and a joke. It usually ends in pain and suffering for all involved.

I have no doubt that Kerry, & many other Dems hold our military personnell in contempt. Once in a while someone lets that slip out.
