Is it wrong to start dating a month after a break up?
I was in the relationship for 11 months...my ex says he was with the woman for 3 months...the girl says 5 months...
How soon did you start dating after you were cheated on?

I know why it fell apart...we were having problems in our relationship...arguing all the time...he started talking to a co-worker and it led from being just friends to more than that...
Instead of him trying to work things out with me when things got rough...or breaking up with me when he met the other woman...he decided that he wanted both of us...that greedy motherf*#%er...Now he lost both of us...

No it's not wrong. Just make sure you're not dating for the wrong reasons. It's going to be hard to be in a relationship for a while until you realize it was not you or your fault he did what he did. It'll be hard to trust, but you can't be afraid forever.

Well, I don't know if I was cheated on, but I had my suspicions when I dated this one guy a few years ago. I don't think there's a right or wrong amount of time to start dating again... you just have to do it when the time is right for you. As for me, I dumped the ex in August then dated a guy in February, dumped the February guy at the end of February (I only went on like 2 dates with him), then the following January, I briefly dated this one guy (like 2 weeks of dating... I'm a serial dumper, I admit). Then, I started dating my current boyfriend in February 2006 and we moved in together in July.

I think it would be fine for you to start dating if you feel comfortable doing so. If a female ever cheated on me I'd have no problem getting back out there to the dating scene with no hesitation, but thats just me. Some people may need some time for healing. I think that it would help the healing proccess to date though.

It was 4 months for me but I would have started dating within the week. As far as I was concerned, he made that choice for me. Once he cheats, you are not in a monogamous relationship anymore anyway.

7 years!!! **(After ending a 21 year marriage -to the most abusive, worthless, cheater drunk to ever walk the earth!!) It took me 7 years before I could trust any man enough to date again! I didn't even consider dating until I started dating (my now husband of 2 years) - five years ago!.

2 weeks... why waste my time crying over him and worrying what happened. You did nothing wrong, so why should you have to suffer. 2 weeks...then you don't look like a slut but you can get back in the game quick.

I like wthing5's answer. Trying to find out why it fell apart is better than starting 4 new ones.
Or...maybe not. Depends what your up to. I just assume you are in it for the long haul. Donno. Just had this as an after thought.

It's not about time to heal, it's about your heart ache to heal. As long as you want, why should I wait longer to look for some new to comfort me?
