Let's see: They have beaten the Patriots, Ravens, Chiefs, and lost a close one to the Colts. They gave the Colts a better run than the Patriots did. However, as a fan, I know that the ONLY team the Broncos do not match up well is against the Colts. Everyone else in the AFC can be beaten by the Broncos.

Contenders, they proved this with their close game against Indy, but they are not going anywhere if they cannot find a way to win on the road and against Indy. Denver should get the number two seed which means they can avoid playing SD, but they will need to beat Indy in the dome. Shanahan will have to out coach Dungy and make Payton over think the situations, he CAN do it!

Up to this point they are looking like Contenders....of course in the NFL, any team can win on any given Sunday. But as long as they win their division, which they have a good chance to do, they have as good of chance as anyone of beating the Colts or Pats.

The only team they sweat is the Colts....so they are legit contenders. When they struggle on offense, they play great D....when they struggle on D, they put up lots of points.....and they will get homefield in the second round and mile high is tough to play at in dec.

I'd say contenders, but certainly not favorites... with Colts and Pats in the AFC with them. Of course they did beat the Pats at the start of the season... but question is, can they do it again when it counts?

Pretenders. I think the Chargers will knock them out of playoff contention. I also agree that you never know what Jake Plummer is going to show up

i believe contenders from game 3 i think they will go far in the playoffs possibly win it all

well im a die hard fan, i say contender just because thats my team but sometimes when we get to the playoffs one way or another we just fall apart
