Disrespect for human lives? Disrespect for human lives?! How the hell can you say such a thing?
You obviously have no idea what's going on in this area.
Is it the Israelis who recruit their 5 year old children and brainwash them to bomb themselves in buses and crowded streets? Is it the Israelis who focus their fight on civilians only, killing women, old people and babies? Occupation… huh! Israel had moved all its settlements in Gaza and Shomron, and what did it get in return? Hezbollah has kidnapped three of Israel's soldiers in its LEGITIMATE territories, started a war that nobody wanted.

Your religious statements have no realistic basis, and show nothing but your misunderstanding of the situation.
Read some history and FACTS about the conflict, before you write this nonsense. Right now it seems like you've been eating a lot of CNN and other "objective" Medias.

I'm not for or against Israel, I just like to try to consider why peoples do what they do.

There's sometimes a misconception that Israel has the backing of vast numbers of American Jews, and it is the power of their vote stops the US from getting Israel to back off. However, Jews only make up 1% of the US population, so it is not the power of the vote. It is the power of their money, which is disproportionate to their numbers.

I'd say most things in this part of the World are not what they appear. If we are considering what is happening here we have to try to be objective. Raising a point does not mean you agree with it. Some say people in the West are now getting a taste of the Muslim terror the Jews have been living with for years. Jews always seem to have had a disproportionate amount of power because they always seem to have been good with money. Why is this? The real reasons behind past Jewish genocides have more normally been about their money, and to remove their power, and wipe out debts. Than because people don't like Jews.

It does seem odd how a minority, is treated in the Middle East as if it is a majority. It seems minorities should know their place.
Why do they seem to try and annoy their neighbours so much?

Israel seems to have no consideration for its public image or World opinion. They over-react to every slight by their neighbours.
Some of their neighbours are no better in stating publically that their aim is the total annihilation of Israel.

Personally I can't figure this situation out. Can any accommodation be arrived at?

They are the favourite sons of the US, not God. If there is a God, she loves us all, doesn't she ?

The US always needs an enemy, the downfall of Communism left a gaping void in the right wing haters' lives. Fortunately, Islam was ready and eager to step into that role, so now they're all happy again - religious people are never truly happy unless they are hating.

By accepting US patronage, Israel has painted herself into a corner. She is the only representative of the US in the Middle East region, and she hates with the best. Which suits Hizbullah et al. What pisses me off is the amount of our attention all these dysfunctional bigots demand (both sides). There are terrible things happening in Darfur, for example, but it seems the Middle East is the only place in the world where people suffer.

I am not sure whether the people of Israel are God's favourite sons, but I do think they are the favourites of the US, which is different, whatever some people might think or want to believe.

The Pro-Israel lobby is very strong in the US, and Israel has chosen to be the agent of the US in this extremely strategic region. Therefore, it is to be expected that the US will give preferential treatment to Israel.

Occupation, Killings, bombings... mmm think of Haiti, Grenada, Vietnam... Nope, it's not Nazi Germany that I am reminded of; Nazi Germany was openly invading conquering; occupation can be subtle (via puppet governments for example), killings kept off the media (since nobody sees it, it doesn't happen), bombings can be sold as pinpoint and necessary for the greater good.

Why focus on Isreal as your example of a "bad nation" there are worse...The Sudan, The USA, North Korea? Is it only for the fact that religion is involved that people focus on it more than other trouble hot spots in the world? Hitler has by the looks of this one won by default...Their suffering during the 2nd world war resulted in a percieved** need by the Jewish people for a nation

**the use of the world percieved here is used only to emphasise that there are two points of view on the subject.

As has been the case for both the west and the middle east, religion and politics dont mix...state should be secular (that includes USA)

Israel is not above the laws of men - it just feels that way. while one can have a degree of sympathy for a country born out of such imense crimes as the Nazi genocide and centuries of persecution throughout the world; the creators of the state of Israel sowed the seeds for the problem. The UK left as Protectorate of Palestine saying its all yours while saying the smae to Israel and left to let the fighting begin washing their hands Pilate style. Ben Gurion proceeded to mire the country in blood killing women and childrne as a freedom fighter against the Arabs allowing the fuel to the fire of hatred. The Americans proceeded to bow to the very powerful lobby of Jewish Americans while the rest of the world proceeded to feel guilty for their negligence and participation in WWII. The Arabs felt abandoned and robbed of their land(and yep we know the arguments about who was there first the trouble is it was all rather problematic as how far do you go back - on that basis Denmark, Italy or France has a pretty good claim to England).
The citing of religion is also problematic - a literal claim that annoys a lot of people and rightly so...other more liberal Jews will understand that it can not be taken to mean God's favoured race.
One thing which suggests they can and will continue to get away with their actions is the most flagrant flouting of UN resolutions - more than Iraq adn more than Iran - the US has vetoed every resolution against Israeli actions - and people wonder why the Arabs might get a little hacked off (particularly since most Arabs live on around 5% of the annual Israeli income). And there's the small issue of nuclear weapons that they don't admit to owning but every one knows they have. So the short answer is they have created the laws of man in their own image - having their cake and eating it as well. Sadly sometimes for a nation born out of such terrible crimes the analogy to Nazi Germany is a loaded one but at times one despairs that they have not learnt a lesson from history

at the start, the rulers and judges of Israel have been called gods and "sons of the main intense" because of the fact they represented God in executing judgement. John 10:34-36 documents Jesus utilising this passage to shield his claims to be God. His argument replaced into as follows: If God might call mere adult males "gods" why replaced into it blasphemous for him, the genuine Son of God, to declare himself equivalent with God. Secondly- while Mary conceived and gave start to Jesus in Bethlehem, and he grew to grow to be someone, he grew to grow to be a son of guy, so as that he could possibly sense the comparable issues that we flow by daily. And that way we would have and recommend or mediator (flow between) with God the daddy. Jesus replaced into sinless and hence, basically he can deliver us returned to the daddy by the blood that he willingly shed on the flow of Calvary.

When people say religion starts wars this is the perfect example. Jewish people claim that they are Gods chosen people, and Zionists claim God gave the land to them. The Palestinians can not make these claims, so in this situation who is right? I should like to point out that throughout history many prominent Rabbis and Jews have stood against Zionism, claiming that what Israel is doing to the Palestinians is completely unholy and wrong.
http://www.jewsagainstzionism.com/

It seem that the Terrorist state of Israel is above the Law, why, probably because the worlds most powerful county supports the Zionist regime 100%. If only Americans knew what was happening.
-Palestinians have 0 UN resolutions against them, Terrorist Israilis 65.
-122 Israeli children have been killed by Palestinians and 836 Palestinian children have been killed by Israelis since September 29, 2000.
-1,084 Israelis and 4,266 Palestinians have been killed since September 29, 2000.
-7,633 Israelis and 30,771 Palestinians have been injured since September 29, 2000.
-1 Israeli is being held prisoner by Palestinians, while 9,599 Palestinians are currently imprisoned by Israel.
-0 Israeli homes have been demolished by Palestinians and 4,170 Palestinian homes have been demolished by Israel since September 29, 2000.
-The Israeli unemployment rate is 8.9%, while the Palestinian unemployment is estimated at 25-31%. (The palestinian figure is now much higher because of sanctions against the palestinians, because they wont accept a 'State of Israel.' Why would they?
-60+ new Jewish-only settlements have been built on confiscated Palestinian land between March 2001 and July 11, 2003. There have been 0 cases of Palestinians confiscating Israeli land and building settlements.

It also seems that the Zionists are much worse than the Nazis, simply because the Jewish people were persecuted by the Nazis and yet they commit much worse crimes against humanity. Evil people to say the least. Only today the Nazi Zionists have killed 18 Innocent people and seriously wounded 40 others in Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza Strip.

The American media is 100% in favour of Zionism, watch this excellent video about the subject (only 10 minutes.)

This is an uncool question. Comparing nazi ideals to israel is ignorant or just plain, well yes, ignorant flag waving. If we take this thinking a step further, I guess we should liken leading western powers to nazi thinking as well...they have huge armaments industries and make big bucks out of investing in wars (often the very one's they send their own soldiers to fight in). Sick isn't it?

"killings, bombings, disrespect for human life"

Hmm sounds like the Muslim terrorists who committed 9/11 and 7/11 and the Madrid Train Bombings and the Mumbai Train bombings. And the recent arrests in the UK of Muslim fanatics who were plotting large scale civillian slaughter.

These people even arrogantly claim that "God" tells them to do it!!!!! They cite passages in the Koran in which they claim God tells them to kill "infidels".

My sympathy for the Muslim cause died with 9/11 and 7/7 sorry. They have killed just as many Israelis as Israelis have killed Palestinians.
