It depends what law you want to practice. For criminal law, you can get more variety clients which gets you more money. You may not have to hire a staff solely for the purpose of translation, which could be from $10 to $30 bucks an hour.

For commercial law, if there are rich corporate or business clients who do significant work in your area, you will be sure to get a higher salary. Obviously knowing the culture would help since the hispanics I know are more appreciative of good manners and respectfulness.

I honestly would have to say the greatest benefit would be in the ease of which you could be bilking the masses of illegal immigrants into believing you could actually get them legal status without any confrontation from the new democratic white house.
