gas that trap Earth's heat are called carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide. this gas were produce when we burn energy, such as petroleum. this gas will be floating to the sky and will be trapped by the atmosphere. hence both this carbon based gases will stay for around 200 years before it disintegrates, just imagine how much have we produced in the past years. apart from that, tree which was supposed to regenerate oxygen from CO and CO2 are being felled each year.

Many gases exhibit these “greenhouse” properties. Some of them occur in nature (water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide), while others are exclusively human-made (like gases used for aerosols).
