The Saints Are Coming single comes out some time this month.
They are working on a new album.

You never know with billie joe, they could be writing a new album as we speak but so i have heard,they could be calling it quits and leaving on a good note. American idiot was one of the greatest rock operas in punk rock history. they have worked so hard to get to this point. they have rocked on for more than 10 years and that album is what it was all for, thats what all the hard work was leading to. But lets all hope it wasnt thier last full length album yeah.

Green Day just released their new single with U2, "The Saints Are Coming". They're currently working on their new album which will either be released late 2006 or spring of 2007.

they have had a minimum of one interior the works for the previous 12 months or 2. reckoning on who you're listening to, they could have as many as 3 new albums up their sleeves lined up for simultaneous launch... Yep persons... that's what happens once you study the NME... *bangs head off table*
