How deep is your love, by the Bee Gees, is a great great song. Very romantic, I think it's perfect, or If I can't have you.

I think someone else already said "Someone to Watch Over Me" Great song... but make sure that you play something VERY familiar, don't get to obscure with it. I think "I Can't Help Falling in Love With You" (Elvis Presley) Would be beautiful on guitar, easily recognized and perfect for your circumstances. Just an idea. Good luck!

One song stands out and is whiz-bang excellent on a standard acoustic or (if you're REALLY brave) a 12 string: "I Just Wanna Stop" by Gino Vanelli. Do a Limewire and check the song out.
It's old, done in 1978--but it's lyrics are easily adaptable and done right, can take her breath away. Trust me: this song can tag and bag it for you.

"Confessiions of a Broken Heart" represent a broken heart of a girl which is still loving the boy.
"Beautiful Sunday" represent a boy which is exciting about the girl which is acept his love.
But I will choose "Nothing's Gonna Change My Lovr For You" by George Benson.

Have you heard 'Watch Over Me', by Bernard Fanning (Australian singer from Powderfinger)? I can't stop playing it, it is so honest, exposed, and beautiful. My fiance and I are going to dance to it at our wedding. It would be amazing with acoustic backing.
I'm sure he or she'll love whatever you choose.
