Well I hope not Australia because it seems to much like Schumacher and F1!!!I think West Indies have a good chance because they have good team, they have the home advantage and they might just pull out a surprise!!!I also think New Zealand is looking very dangerous and if SA can get some consistancy they stand a good chance!!!!

It will be the West Indies. Yhey have the expierence and the homeground advantage. They won the previous ICC you can argue with me that was long ago but something happened back then.
It was in the semifinal when Eng beat Aus. The cricket world was shocked and stood in awe. That gave the world the hope of breaking the Aussie dominance.
West Indies beat Aus in the first match of the ICC and they cand do it again. Its a fact that the most underated team is the West Indies.
Australia cannot be forgotten though they have enough selfbelief to beat a team of a hundred players. Yet that pshycological edge they had in 2003 is now not there.
And South Africa. Ah, yes. They can beat Australia and have done so comprehensively this year. Who will ever forget the 438 game??? If they can hit the right form at the right time they will be a force to be reckoned with.
Im South African but I will put my money on the West Indies.
They got the balls to win it.

Since cricket is a game of uncertainties, nothing can be predicted for certain about the outcome of a tournament in advance.
As far as world cup 2007 it is all the more difficult to give any
certain prediction at this stage as it is not at all know who will be the players representing each team and what will be the form of each player and the team as whole at the time of the tournament.
Hence the most safe prediction which can be made at this stage is that all the top 8 teams have a chance to win the world cup depending upon how they perform at that time.

India can't !!!! reason is everyone plays his individual game, Dravid is the best batsman but not a good captain. india has a strong batting line-up but bowling is very poor . there is no promising bowler in india.
Westindies can't !!!! reason is just they have three main persons Gayle, sarwan and chanderpaul except these three all others can just give a support
South Africa can't !!!!! reason is they are Unlucky enough to win a world cup
Australia can't !!!!!!! because they have become proudy enough, and there countdown starts from now
Pakistan can't !!!!!!!! because of the internal war, If shoaib akhathar and asif is not there how can they think to win the world cup
England can't !!!!! they are not strong enough
So they are just two teams who can win the world cup :- Srilanka and NewZealand
And in these two teams Srilanka is Stronger than NZ so obviously SriLanka will win the worldcup

The way Australians are performing in every match, it seems they will win 07.
Lets see who will else challenge this team in the world cup. South Africans are still favourities to beat Australians. But it is difficult to say how they will clash in the final 07.
All other teams need to do more home work to beat these two teams.

west indies will win. gayle, bravo will be effective. plus its their homeland. they just have to perform. lara is there. chanderpaul, sarwan, morton is there. maybe hinds will be back. fast bowler taylor, smith is there. bravo will be causing damage in the last overs.
australia will not e able to win it this time. no way. but if they make it to the finals the cup will be theirs. no one can beat australia in a final.
