How would you interpret a dream like this....i dreamed that it was a sunny day i was standing talking to friends when i just happened to look up at the sky it was at this point i heard a rumble of thunder, and then i actually saw the sun explode, and all i remember was a lot of fire and debrie flying through the air, and seeing people running as though they were running for their lives......it really felt like judgment day in the dream, it was weird, not to mention scarey.

I am not the kind of person who even thinks about things like judgement day, i'm a happy go lucky kind of person...thats why i find this dream so weird.

This might take some space......

Let's see......

i dreamed that it was a sunny day

((Dream opens by saying this is an issue which you are aware, thus the "light of day"..... The light offers understanding that you can see clearly...... Sunny day......))

i was standing talking to friends when i just happened to look up

((Dream says this is a point of view.... You are not alone....))

at the sky

((You have an open mind.....))

it was at this point i heard a rumble of thunder,

((There is something being said... Something you think is being expressed by God.......))

and then i actually saw the sun explode,

((The sun is symbolic of a great focal point for you..... Something that is falling apart......))

and all i remember was a lot of fire

((There is anger here....))

and debrie flying through the air,

((There is aftermath of this person "blowing up" like this.....))

and seeing people running as though they were running for their lives......

((It is effecting other people.......))

****Most prophetic dreams are those where the dreamer has no direct hand, if you will, in the outcome of the situations occurring in the dream......

Let it be known, also, that if this is a prophetic dream, there will be another to confirm it....... Look for extreme similarities......

I had a "judgement day" dream like that recently, too. You weren't listening to Radiohead or the Clash before bed, were you?

In my dream, I was watching a movie at about 1 a.m. and I noticed the sun was still out. So I looked out the window and noticed the sun was zigzagging in the sky! Then it started rising and setting and rising and setting really quickly and the sky kept blinking from light to dark like someone rapidly flicking a lightswitch. Then I realized that the earth was spinning out of control. Earthquakes, volcanoes, and mass hysteria ensued.

Next, some oddly shaped giant spaceships came down to earth. "An alien race has come to save us!" I thought. Then they started blasting at us with their lasers, which were powerful enough to blow off huge chunks of the earth off with each hit.

Amongst all the insanity I wondered, "What is going on? Why is everything going out of control???" At that moment, a little subtitle came up in the center of my vision. It said, "It's YOUR dream." At that point everything calmed down. The UFO's disappeared and the earth stopped spinning out of control and everything returned to normal. I woke up a few minutes later.

My interpretation of the dream was this: When it seems like your world is spinning out of control, just remember, this is YOUR dream. Whether life is scary or not all depends on how you view it.

Perhaps there is something going on in your life right now, and you are fearful of the consequences. The fact that you were doing something that you would normally do, such as talking with friends on a nice day, suggests that you fear something that you cannot possibly predict the outcome.

Is there something troubling you in the back of your mind right now? Are you somehow possibly foreseeing a worst-case scenario if you make a wrong decision?

I am no psychologist, but I do know that our dreams, or our subconscious, very often reflect things going on in our conscious life. I highly doubt that you are predicting Armageddon; you are probably imagining the worst possible consequences to something as mundane as telling your parents something, passing a test, or some other decision that you have to make.

Anyway, that is my Wal-Mart psychological analysis of your dream; take it for what it's worth.

Guess that's where you put your negative thoughts. Don't panic - it's just your subconscious saying you're human and you don't *really* think the world's perfect.

I once had a dream about a shark chasing me around a library. And there was a talking liver in a jar. It had eyes like those stick-on ones you find at craft shops. Glad I don't read too much into dreams...

Everybody has dreams dealing with scary subjects like war-religion,death,etc.-Try to put it in perspective and try not to worry about your dreams too much-I think it's the mind trying to put a face on potential situations we worry about subconsciously so we have a comparison of how to respond consciously.

That's weird. Maybe you have been thinking about the world ending or something. I'm sure alot of people have with all of this war mumbo jumbo that goes on these days. Atleast you didn't dream you turned into a spider.

Did you watch any horror film prior to your dream? The dreams of the easy-go-lucky hardly have any significance.

I don't interpret dreams, but I can make out that you think a lot on judgement day sort of things and you are often restless over that. Try thinking something else, and see if it works!!

It only means something if you've had that dream repeatedly. Otherwise, maybe check what you've had for dinner that night and avoid it next time.
