There are many different kinds of ginsens .. American(Yin), Korean, Chinese (yang).. some are cooling and some are heat producing. Americans perfer Chinese and Korean while the Chinese perfer American. There are some very fine ginsens (yang) that sell for $10,000.00 per ounce. Ginsen is not an herb that should be played with and in the hands of the uneducated can cause the individual many problems, especially the yang ones. I think Ginsana is a sorry product.

It's a name brand vitamin-like supplement, you know, like how Geritol is a name for a vitamin? But it only contains Ginseng I believe. It's supposed to give you energy, but I prefer Gingko Bilboa since it helps your memory.
