Love - definitions are different for each person and attempt to explain or put it in words may make it mediocre. Close to something would be - it is somethign that will give you meaning of life. You will find things interesting - at times you will wait for next moment, next hour, next day.. and at times you want time to stop. It certainly is eternal (don't even bring word sex).
Go ahead and rise in love - sure you will find surrounding all the more beautiful that ever it looked to you before.

Love means being absolutely crazy about somebody even though it may seem like a bad idea. Even better if it seems like a good idea. Whatever the case, if you feel totally drawn toward a person and don't care if that person is good or bad or whatever, you love that person. Whether we should or not is futile to ask, because once you love, you can't help it anyway. Eternal concept? No. It's a mechanism, and can't be controlled.

What is LOVE?
Loving another person is not separate from loving God.
One is a single wave, the other is the ocean.
Contemplate love every day. Loving reflections make the heart grow.
Surrender to love as a guiding force.
Love never forces. Love is intelligent and brings only what you need.
The awakening of true love lies in finding peace within passion and passion within peace.
To feel beauty is to know that truth. To know the truth is to be in love.
Your marriage is a play of the divine.
Two souls pretend to be separate for the sheer joy of coming together in love.
The highest expression of love is creativity.
Love doesn't need reason. It speaks from the irrational wisdom of the heart.
A heart that has learned to trust can be at rest in the world.
Love is attention without judgement. In its natural state, attention only appreciates.
Love is the beginning of the journey, its end and the journey itself.
Love is like water. If it doesn't flow, it stagnates.
The mind judges what is good or bad. Love brings only good.
True love is here and now.
Whatever you can remember or anticipate is only a shadow of love.
this page is dedicated to a loving couple....
always and forever..
My Dear friend Starlette..
I know you are in a far better place now..
your pain is gone, you know the ones who loved you.
You brightened many lives and are missed..
When I gaze into the sky....
I know you are the brightest star there..

i think this word is first used by people to describe a not common feeling and that was some dropping in a safe space from daily fearing and unfairly conditions, but gradually like other concepts it was progressed till now, but still that feeling occur and can make you foggy, but i say that is the best impression for anyone which he or she feels no walls, no stresses, and will be sure that is accepted by another without expectation. yes this is the love time and it give an important energy and motivation to follow the life.but it is created mainly by the culture and self making, and someone may never gain it.

Love is an overused word. Check yahoo search and you'd find more pages for love than for God!
Frankly, love is a feeling of liking, of attraction or of bonding between people of different sexes or age-groups. Be it parental or sibling love, love is a subtle way of camouflaging the natural attraction between people of different sexes.
We don't really chose to love; it is natural to feel attracted at one stage of time or another. And love is not an eternal concept. It is an emotion, just like anger, fear, lust or greed. It is real and we need to understand it that way!

We cant define love .Its very hard to define. It happens .If you want it or not it remains --as long as you die.Who knows if its eternal then can go to several lives after lives. This eternal love happens only in Godly people.People sometimes misunderstand love with other want and attractions Yes its true that they feel their presence so much like they are in the heaven and the same when they are apart--feel like facing the death. Its associates with emotions, care ,passions,dedication--have faith on each other.when both unite they can conquer the world. It has such power..But Love is God as God is Love.So the people who love truely they can tell how and what is Love.I heard that even a king can love the poorest. It knows no bounds. It makes both complete. If any time any one gets it --never loose it.

I don't think love always existed, I think it is cultural. Back in the ancient times, marriage was a pragmatic solution to divide or share property, land, or share political interests. With the freedoms we now have and the development of civilization, I think love has become one of the best things about modern culture.
So love isn't eternal as far as the past. But the value it brings to you should last as long as you live, don't know about eternal.
Why is, so you can die happy and know you had your moment in the sun.
