My fathers glasses.
He died 10-4-05. I put them on his face to read the last thing he ever read, and took them off for him after he died in the hospital.
They're worth nothin to anyone else but me.
they're priceless.

A ring, and even it is a replacement. Between a hurricane last year destroying all my property, and a fire at my parents' house with some of my childhood belongings, I have lost everything with sentimental value in the past year or so.

The ring is a Chevalier ring, which was a very prestigious award for a youth group I once was a member of, and even spent many years as an adult worker with. The original was lost to me in an ambulance in Houston, and I have seen it on a celebrity's hand since I lost it. I recognized my ring because mine had some distinctive markings. I have contacted their people, and that person no longer wears it in public, and will not return it or acknowledge it. Charlie Rose Show has the file footage.

So, I bought a substitute ring on Ebay, and live in the present.

An old blanket from when I was a baby and a child. It was my security blanket for quite a long time. I actually used as a pillow. It is in a bag now and has fallen apart, but it means a lot to me.
