yes, there is corruption in all governments at all levels and more so in some countries than in others. americans would rather believe thought that we have the most here but just take mexico for example, every time they get stopped for a traffic violation there has to be a bribe paid, and they get stopped alot. most other countries have very obvious corruption like venezuela, india, and many other third world countries.

It is infamous think so in a democratic country like ours. Corruption does not make government. It is the people who make the Government - a Democratic Government like ours.
The Democratic Government function with laid down principles, rules and regulations as well as laws written in the Constitution.
It is we the people who elect corrupt leaders to represent us in the Government and why should you say corruption makes government. Don't blame the government. Make self introspection. If the people are good and self-conscious and do not offer bribes and do not accept bribes and do not allow corruption in what ever manner, we can root out corruption from the country and the government could function virtuously. But such a day may not come in this kaliyug. No need worry about all these things and make one's life miserable. Try yourself to be noble and live peacefuly with your family by adjusting yourself with the state of affairs, which you and I can not change.Turn your mind to God and Religion and go by the righteous path even if it is painful and remain content. You will be rewarded with happiness. Sab kaa Malik Eka hai - That is what Shridi Sai says. Have faith in God and leave every to Him.

Where there is corruption, there is a Government. Where there is a Government, there is corruption.
There is no Government without corruption.
There is no corruption without a Government.
Conclusion: Government and Corruption go hand in hand.

Corruption and government shouldn't be synonymous but unfortunately they seem to go hand in hand. It takes money to campaign and usually the people with enough money to support a political agenda dangle their Candidate Puppets in front of the public in order to make them believe that they represent "the People."
