Why do some people like famous actors better than regular people?

Thanks to all for responding. To whoever gave me the "thumbs-down" for the question please explain yourself, as it means nothing to me unless you articulate some response to why my question was so "bad."

Charisma.
You also see famous people's flaws highlighted more than people around your - everyone likes an anti-hero who succeeds. You can look up to famous people while you probably, at first glance, have no idea about the first thing about the guy next to you on the bus.
And you could potentially get shot asking, too.

I don't like famous actors, period but I do greatly appreciate good acting and being entertained. I could care less for their bazaar life style. They are selfish and pious. Most of all the are not even grateful for their talent and all the money they make. Do you ever see a humble actor or actress? There are certainly a lot of them that came from humble beginnings.

Because socitey in general has become pathetic. There is nothing about celebrities that makes them better than us or more special, they are just in the public eye and wealthier than most of us. I suppose some people are unsatisfied with their own lives so they become fixated on the lives of celebrities.

actually, most of them are cute, charming, funny, etc (depending on their role) and acting is in their blood, their job is to win ppls hearts
