Ran away from home when I was a kid, I didn't get far as I lived on an Army Base in Belize and the guards wouldn't let me escape...just as well really, how I was going to get back to England to live with my grandparents (which was the plan) is beyond me as I had no money and they lived 50000 miles away!!

Yes, I ran away from home once when I was sixteen. Things at home were a mess and I thought that no one was listening to me, so I ran away. I spent the night on the floor of my best friends closet, and the next day at the river. When I was trying to sneak back into her house that evening, the police showed up and arrested me. Anyway, to make a long story short, I ended up back at home and found out that running away from your problems doesn't work. They are always there waiting when you get back. Its best to stay there and find a way to work things out.

Yes once at the age of 14 and refused to go home and actually asked to go into care as my mum was a *****.
I also ran away from my 1st husband as he used to beat me(15 months after we were married). I also ran away from my 2nd husband (23 months after we were married) as he turned into a p1ss head and started fights where ever we went, which I found very embarrassing as he would try to pick fights with anyone and everyone, he was a complete ****.

Yes correctly I did as soon as, no longer so very lengthy in the past. What I loved greater than strolling away nonetheless used to be the cat within the poem, representing, as a metaphor, I idea besides, and animals are as a lot a side of my existence as humans are. I have no idea if I'm happy with being wholly feral, however I'm no longer, in a strict feel, thoroughly domesticated both. Great poem.

I did run away from home when I was about 15. I went to a near by town and stayed with a new friend for about a month with her family. My mother was beside herself she felt really bad about yelling at me and telling me to leave her house. When I came home she apologized for her words and actions.
