Uzbekistan is useful for the war in Afghanistan , as soon as the situation changes that country will be abandoned or subverted.

Because the US is not in the business of getting rid of leaders who do not threaten the US or its vital interests.
If the US tried to take over Uzbekistan, it would be condemned by Russia, China, the other Central Asian states, the Muslim world, the European Union and millions of others.
Probably including yourself anyway.
