Help me...I got my mid term back 35% of the grade I got a 1.9 for it, there remains a final for 45%?

and there is a 20% grade for pop quizzes.

What would I need to do in order to get a 2.5 for the class? I mean how much room do I have to mess around with the Final, or what is the best grade I could get if I only get:

70% on the final and 85% on the remaining 20%,

If I decided to drop the class....should I re-take it the next quarter so what I learned is fresh and work on what I missed in the mean-time?

I really need help on this one!

If you get 70% on the final and 85% on the pop quizzes, then you will get around 2.5 for the class. If you don't think you can get close to 70% on the final, cause final is usually harder than the mid, then you might as well drop the class and retake it, than risk getting a failed class on your transcript.
