Elsie and Rudy Eiler are the only people left in Monowi, Neb. along Highway 12 near the South Dokota Border. Their Tavern is the town's only business. But the Couple keep Monowi incorporated out of pride and for practical reasons.

It is the smallest town in America with two residents!

I saw something about a town that was down to one person in a magazine recently.

A One-Man Town
The title says it all... yes as you can see is a one man town. This is the "true world smallest town". It is located in the US. Sandy, Texas. The one man that lives there is Sandy Texas. Yup thats his name. And people are probably thinking well how can it be, is it indutrialized??? yes. it has everything it requires to be a town. Well here is the website to see the town. I will look for more stuff to put there but this is what I found. Hope it really is the smallest. Well if anyone else finds one smaller kool!!! http://www.rtis.com/reg/roundtop/sandytex.htm — DNLcHiK, December 26, 2004

Can't give you an exact name, but try a good atlas - there are towns in Alaska with single-digit populations.
