I don't understand how the rich received any welfare at all considering they are, obviously, successful enough to support themselves as it is. It would certainly go against the democratic code of penalizing those who work hard and rewarding those who hardly work aka Communism. I don't understand why democrats refuse to acknowledge that when the rich and big businesses are heavily taxed, they do not spend $$$ on merchandise or do not hire new employees. That is how redistribution of wealth SHOULD work. It's called capitalism.

I should not respond to anyone with your name, but if people think Pelosi will give away the store, they will be mistaken.
The Republicans keep saying the Dems are "Tax and Spend", but I say the Republicans are "Spend and no Tax" so how do you pay for the spending?
Try using your credit cards and not paying them off, see how long you manage.

People who don't like to work? Prez Bush has taken more vacations than any other president. Welfare and social programs pale in comparison to the billions wasted on Iraq.

Our Republican President has done more damage to us and our future children and grandchildren by turning Fort Knox over to the rich than any Democrat could possibly do in our lifetime by raising a few taxes.
You and I and our children and grandchildren will be paying for the welfare giveaway to the rich for the next thirty years.
